Saturday 16th March, 2pm–4pm

£45

WHEN: Saturday 16TH march 2024 - 2pm - 4PM

WHERE: upstairs in THE POTTING SHED, HOLDEN CLOUGH NURSERIES.

Join Ian, our on-site indoor plant guru, for this 2-hour interactive, hands-on Terrarium Building Workshop.

Learn how to create your very own unique terrarium that can stand proud in your home, workspace, or even be given as a gift.

Ian will walk and talk you through each step, where you can learn about the process, the plants, the layers and why each is so important to the overall health and look of your terrarium.

The 2-hour Terrarium Building Workshop includes:

  • Introduction to Terrariums – what, where, how

  • Terrarium tips, tricks, and advice

  • All appropriate materials such as substrates and decorative additions such as moss, gravel, and sand

  • Choose from a 5ltr open bottle with succulents/cacti OR a closed medium bottle with tropical / houseplants

  • 3 Terrarium plants are included (additional plants can be bought on the day if they can fit)

  • 10% off additional Terrarium plants and materials on the day of the workshop

By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to leave with your creation and the knowledge and skills to continue caring for your miniature garden at home.

It’s the perfect present for a green-fingered loved one and yourself alike. After this two-hour session, you can go on to create more open terrariums yourself, at home, or look out for future Advanced Terrarium Workshops too.

Tickets are very limited, in order to keep the class numbers low, so that Ian can give personal attention throughout the class and terrarium building.

£45

*Please note that the pictures are for illustrative purposes only, to give an idea of what you could create. Each terrarium will look completely unique, depending on what plants or cacti the individuals choose to use, and where they’re placed.

The terrarium pictured with Ian is a larger terrarium than the 5ltr ones used in the class.
