We are extremely excited to welcome and host one of the UK’s most renowned and talented children’s entertainers, magicians, and circus performers to Holden Clough Nurseries.
May we proudly introduce - Adrian Catch.
Adrian has a long and experienced background in skills such as magic, puppets, juggling, circus skills, balloon modelling, and hosting and presenting a huge variety of children’s events around the UK, on Television, in Pantomimes, and beyond.
Join us for an event like no other this New Year, as Adrian hosts a fully immersive and interactive Circus Workshop and Magic Show, for children ages 5-11 years.
Circus Skills Workshop
Adrian will demonstrate and teach the children in:
Juggling (scarves, balls, rings, clubs)
Plate Spinning (plastic ones of course!)
Diabolo
Flower Sticks
Stilts (Bucket & Hand Held)
Pedal Go’s
Hula Hoops
Balancing Objects
Poi
Magic Show
Adrian will also be performing a super fun comedy Magic Show with lots of audience participation & interaction. It will also include some of the circus tricks that the children have just learned.
With his vast 20+ years’ experience in his field, Adrian can work with all children, ensuring that all levels and ages between 5-11 can get involved and take part, whilst going at a pace that suits them individually.
Not only can we promise that this will be fantastically fun, but Circus Skill Workshops can help to boost coordination, concentration, physical & mental fitness, self-confidence, and more.
This is the start of some incredible events set to be hosted by us at Holden Clough this year, so we know we had to kick it off with a BIG bang!

Spaces are limited and tickets are priced at just £10 per child.
It will take place in our Potting Shed and parents are welcome to wander through our Nursery or head to the Reading Room for a coffee whilst the workshop takes place.
Be assured, Adrian and the Holden Clough staff that will be assisting are all fully DBS checked and experienced in working with children of this age.
