Tea Room starts to be built!
Tea Room starts to be built
Sunday 05 Aug 2012
Planning to be open in April 2013 our next project of constructing a Tea rom and Lecture room has just begun. Since given the green light to start, and also recieving some grant aid for the project from the DEFRA Rural Development for England project its all happening on the nursery.
The building is a single story stone built, slate roof construction with space for our tea room, lecture room, kitchen, toilets and office. With the bad weather hopefully behind us now and some sunshine to follow (Lets Hope!) we are now planning for next year.
The tea room will focus on simple food using the highest locally sourced produce, it will have a focal stone build fireplace housing a cosy wood burner, the floors will be out of stone flags and there will be oak tables and chairs. Whether you are near or far im sure you will be greatful for a drink and a bite to eat when you come and visit us next year.
However dont wait till next Spring to visit, come and visit us now to see all the Summer perennials in full flower and also see how progress is coming along with the build!
